When providing your documents to the Library, you can choose:
• Upload to the General Upload Area – this option allows you to place single or multiple PDFs, without any attached metadata, straight into the Uploader
• Submit Legal Documents (legislation or court rulings) – with this option you will need to fully index each document yourself
• Submit Secondary Sources (research documents, journal articles, theses or dissertations, monographs, statements and reports from major conferences, etc.) – with this option you will need to fully index each document yourself
Using the General Upload Area option, where documents will be picked up and indexed by African Law Library indexers, is the preferred and simplest option for most Members.
For inclusion in the Library, documents submitted should be non-partisan and free of bias. They must be submitted proof-read for grammatical accuracy, all links included must function, and material should not be plagiarised. No ownership is assumed by AIF when storing your document. This is set down in the Terms of Service.
